Az alapítványomat 2019-ben hoztam létre, de a Sziámi Fajtamentés - Siamese Cat Rescue Hungary Facebook csoportom már korábban is működött. Azóta átlagban évente 150 cicát adtam örökbe, nagyon szigorú feltételekkel, amely tevékenységem a rosszakaróimnak köszönhetően, a csoportomban jelenleg nem látható (fefüggesztették a profilomat), ez az oldal pedig még új, de igyekszem minél előbb feltölteni az anyagokat, ami 10 évet tekintve, nem kevés időt fog igénybe venni.
Civil állatmentőként, és boldog Thai (Sziámi) cicák gazdájaként, valamint a csoportban szerzett tapasztalataim alapján azt láttam, hogy sajnos ezt a fajtát szaporítják Magyarországon a legtöbben, és emiatt egyre több az utcán kóborló, megszökött, vagy csak egyszerűen kidobott, gyakran beteg vagy sérült sziámi cica.🐱Lévén hogy ez a fajta nagyon közel áll a szívemhez, és emellett alkalmanként komoly szakértelmet igényel az integrálásuk és a szocializációjuk, nem volt kérdéses, hogy megpróbálok segíteni nekik, legyenek akár "csak" Sziámi jellegű, keverék cicák, vagy fajtatiszták.
A szabad helyek függvényében azonban nem csak őket, hanem bármilyen más rászorulót fogadok, európai rövidszőrű (házi), vagy akármilyen más fajtához tartozó cicát. Ilyen módon a Bengáliktól, a Szavanna macskákon, az Angórákon, a Ragdollon, a Perzsákon, a Maine Coonon, a Briten és Skót cicákon keresztül a Szfinxekig nagyon sok fajta megfordult már nálam, úgyhogy a Sziámi Fajtamentés gyakorlatilag elsősorban a fajtajellegű cicák befogadóhelyévé vált, de ha valaki nem vágyik fajtajellegű cicára, nálam akkor is biztosan talál családtagot magának.
A hozzám érkező cicákat szűretem, oltatom, parazitamentesítem, chipeltetem, a felnőtteket ivartalaníttatom. A saját ingatlanomban, külön szobákban, tehát nem ketrecekben kapnak elhelyezést, a körülmények sokkal inkább egy minőségi cicapanzióhoz hasonlítanak, mint egy menhelyhez, és amíg nálam vannak, a legnagyobb szeretettel gondoskodom róluk, állatorvosi és tartási körülményeiket tekintve is a lehető legmagasabb szintű kiszolgálást kapják, végül pedig gazdit keresek nekik, amely a legszigorúbb irányelvek mentén történik. Mint minden civil szervezet, az én alapítányom is kizárólag a magánemberek adományainak, valamint a saját anyagi lehetőségeimnek köszönheti, hogy működhet, és mindent megadhat a mentett cicáinak.

I started my foundation in 2019, but my Facebook group Sziámi Fajtamentés – Siamese Cat Rescue Hungary had already been operating before that. Since then, I have rehomed an average of 150 cats per year, under very strict conditions. Unfortunately, thanks to ill-intentioned individuals, this activity is currently not visible in my group (my profile has been suspended), and this page is still new. However, I will try to upload the materials as soon as possible, which—considering the last 10 years—will take quite a significant amount of time.
As a civilian animal rescuer, and as the happy owner of Thai (Siamese) cats, as well as based on the experience I gained in the group, I have seen that unfortunately this breed is among the most commonly bred in Hungary. As a result, there are more and more Siamese cats roaming the streets, having escaped, or simply being abandoned—often sick or injured. 🐱
Since this breed is very close to my heart, and since their integration and socialization can sometimes require serious expertise, it was never a question that I would try to help them—whether they are “only” Siamese-type mixed cats or purebred ones.
Depending on available space, however, I do not take in only them, but any other cat in need as well—European shorthairs (domestic cats) or cats belonging to any other breed. In this way, many breeds have already passed through my care, from Bengals, Savannah cats, Angoras, Ragdolls, Persians, Maine Coons, British and Scottish cats, to Sphynxes. Thus, the Siamese Rescue has practically become primarily a shelter for cats with breed characteristics, but even those who are not looking for a breed-type cat will certainly find a new family member with me.
The cats that come to me are tested, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and the adult ones are spayed or neutered. They are housed in my own property, in separate rooms rather than cages. The conditions resemble a high-quality cat boarding facility more than a shelter, and while they stay with me, I care for them with the greatest love. In terms of veterinary care and living conditions, they receive the highest possible standard of care. Finally, I find them new owners, which is done according to very strict guidelines.
Like every civilian organization, my foundation can operate only thanks to donations from private individuals and my own financial resources, which make it possible to provide everything the rescued cats need.
